| 内容記述 | The historical development process of a sports club in the Federal Republic of Germany (FRG) is reviewed. This author had a chance to visit FRG in 1994, and investigated the organization, management and leader training system of FRG Sports Union (Deutsche Sportbund) and sports club at Nieder-Olm, the population of the village being about 10,000. The sports club in FRG was established by W. Benecke, a merchant and pupil of F.L. Jahn (what might be called a father of gymnastics) in Hamburg in 1816. Then, it has developed for 180 years. At present, the sports club became popular and penetrated into the people of FRG like a part of the society on daily basis. In Japan, a sports club has become popular rapidly since the Tokyo Olympic Game in 1964. This development is affected intensively by that in European countries and U.S.A., especially FRG. Further the development of the club will be expected in very near future in Japan with the increase of health minded people. The above made clear from this investigation. | |||||||||||
