Twenty female healthy students of physical education volunteered this study. They exercised on bicycle-ergo meter until all out. Vo_2 and respiratory exchange ratio were measured during exercise. From these data, optimal exercise intensity for weight control was calculated. The optimal exercise intensity was 36.5% of Vo_<2max> and the respiratory exchange ratio was 0.78.
